ANDERSON - Anne Scott Morris, 83, of Anderson, widow of Robert William Morris, died Saturday, July 21, 2012.

Born September 17, 1928, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ansel and Mamie McGill Scott. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.

Survivors include one son, Robert W. Morris, Jr. of Anderson and his fiancee, Susan Jones Clayton of Greer; one daughter, Kathy M. Kaminska and husband, Michael of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Brooke M. Heintz and husband, Jeff of Anderson, Kelli K. Morris-Long and husband, Greg Long of Columbia, and Katie K. Hopper and husband, Tripp of Anderson; great grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Abigail, and Emily Heintz, Alex Darr and Cole Hopper. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Grace Scott and a brother, James W. Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson, conducted by Dr. James R. Thomason. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, (JDRF), 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
